1. Ashwagandha ● Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb. ● Its classified as an adaptogen, meaning that it can help your body manage stress. ● Ashwagandha also provides numerous other benefits for your body and brain. ● For example, it can boost brain function, lower blood sugar and cortisol levels, and help fight symptoms of anxiety and depression. 2.Chop Chini (Smilax China Linn) Chopchini or China root is a perennial climbing deciduous shrub and is a popular traditional Chinese medicine. The rhizomes or roots of this plant are majorly used for various medicinal purposes. Chopchini helps manage diabetes by enhancing insulin secretion due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. As per Ayurveda, consuming Chopchini powder along with lukewarm water improves digestion and appetite due to its Deepan (appetizer) property. 3.Vidhara Mool (Arygyeria Speciosa) Vidhara Mool is a herb that has been scientifically proven to treat cuts, wounds, internal bleeding, rheumatism, ulcers and Gangrene. This plant is also called Elephant creeper. The roots, the leaves and the seeds of this plant are used for a number of medicinal benefits. The roots of this plant are rejuvenator, diuretic, nervine tonic and aphrodisiac and therefore they are effective in treating diseases of the nervous system, rheumatism, strangury and sexual disorders. The powder made from soaking the roots of Vidhara in tubers of Asparagus juice and then grinding them in powdered form can be used for various medicinal benefits. 4.Kamarkas ( Butea Monusperma) Kamarkas is a gum of Palash tree (Tesu Tree or Dhak Tree) and in sound India. It is known as Brihmavriksham tree. It is a reddish colour or blackish-reddish colour gum/gond mainly known as Kamarkas, Palash Gond, Gond chuniya. It’s botanical name is Butea monosperma or Buteafrondosa and English name is flame of forest. 5. Nirgundi (Vitex Negundo) Nirgundi - Vitex negundo is a very good muscle relaxant, pain relieving, anti mosquito, anti anxiety, anti asthma and so on, herb of Ayurveda. There are very less herbs as multi-talented and as versatile as Nirgundi is. Used both for external application in the form of paste/ oil. and also for oral administration in the form of powder, leaf juice extract or water decoction. 5.Shallaki (Boswellia Serrata) Ayurveda has used Shallaki extensively in the treatment of painful joint diseases and other inflammatory conditions. Its anti-inflammatory activity has been studied in different dimensions. These studies observed Shallaki to be a potent anti-inflammatory agent working through varied mechanisms of action. Its resin has been identified to exert multidimensional anti-inflammatory effects. Through a battery of evidence Shallaki preparation are recommended to ensure free mobility of joints. 6. Kikar Gondh (Vacellia Nilotica) Acacia nilotica or Vachellia nilotica is a tree 5-20 m high with a dense spheric crown, stems and branches usually dark to black coloured, fissured bark, grey-pinkish slash, exuding a reddish low quality gum. The tree has thin, straight, light, grey spines in axillary pairs, usually in 3 to 12 pairs, 5 to 7.5 cm (3 in) long in young trees, mature trees commonly without thorns. The leaves are bipinnate, with 3-6 pairs of pinnulae and 10-30 pairs of leaflets each, tomentose, rachis with a gland at the bottom of the last pair of pinnulae. Flowers in globulous heads 1.2-1.5 cm in diameter of a bright golden-yellow color, set up either axillary or whorly on peduncles 2-3 cm long located at the end of the branches. Pods are strongly constricted, hairy, white-grey, thick and softly tomentose. Its seeds number approximately 8000/kg.
